Velkommen til visning av filmen The Anti Expedition. In 1971, three Norwegians travelled to the Himalayas not to summit a sacred mountain, but to climb only to a height considered appropriate by the local Buddhist Sherpa community. Their journey was a statement about how travel and mountaineering could be approached with greater respect for local culture and traditions. They documented the expedition in a film. In 2023, a like-minded group returned the 1971 film to the community, revisiting its message and exploring how the mountain valley and its people have changed over the past five decades. "The Anti expedition" was awarded best short documentary at Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival.
