Cinema Neuf: Gratisvisning* - A Fidai Film (2024)

Beskrivelse

Archives and found footage A history of the Palestinian people, constructed with the recovered fragments of films, still images and audio recordings. During the Israeli invasion of Beirut in 1982, the IDF raided the Palestinian Research Centre, removing thousands of archival documents, film reels, news reports; evidence of Palestinian existence both preceding and proceeding 1948. In the act of assembling the fragments which survived the raid, A Fidai Film constructs a narrative which blends fiction and documentary in an attempt to mend this historic rupture.
