Combining his Zulu roots with funk, jazz, and rock, he delivers a spiritual and modern sound. Singing mainly in isiZulu, his powerful falsetto captures emotions that transcend language. Solo Diarra (Burkina Faso): A Griot from a family of traditional storytellers, Solo has mastered instruments like the djembe, kora, n’goni, balafon, and guitar. He honors Griot traditions while blending them with contemporary afrobeat and Manding sounds. His performances are genuine and personal, often drawing from life experiences to offer hope and strength through music.
