After the success of the first edition with Bellaire, Funtowear returns to Smelteverket with The Paris Edition . This time, we welcome Cannelle and Madeleine Records from Paris, alongside Heyo Funk , for an early evening of Disco, French Touch and House. With the support of Institut français de Norvège . More than a traditional club night, this event is imagined as a social and cultural gathering around music, movement and connection — designed for those who love dancing, discovering new sounds and sharing beautiful moments together, without waiting until midnight. Cannelle A rising figure on the Paris scene, with appearances at venues including Djoon and Le Mazette, Cannelle has developed a distinctive sound rooted in a deep love for disco and forgotten grooves. A devoted digger of hidden gems, he builds elegant and uplifting sets where timeless classics, sharp edits and treasures from the 70s and 80s come together naturally. After touring North America and Asia, including Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam, he is now playing across Europe with dates in London, Berlin, Lisbon and Naples, alongside his Paris residencies with the Boogie Frizzante collective. Madeleine Records Madeleine Records is a Paris-based collective founded in 2019 by Appogoes & Nika. Partners both in life and behind the decks, they are known for inclusive, high-energy sets ranging from disco to techno. They have played venues including Virage, Panic Room, Capsule du Badaboum, A La Folie, Alimentation Générale and La Bellevilloise in Paris, as well as Le Chapiteau in Marseille, and they also hold a residency in the ski resort of La Toussuire. Heyo Funk Born in Paris and based in Oslo, Heyo Funk blends French Touch and Disco House into warm, groove-driven sets built for the dancefloor. A regular on the Oslo club scene, he has played venues including Jæger, Blå and Smelteverket, supported The Blaze, and will warm up for Laidback Luke at Vulkan Arena this autumn.
