On the 5th of october we are showing Koyaanisqatsi by Godfrey Reggio in collaboration with MIRAGE filmfestival. Koyaanisqatsi is a breathtaking audiovisual journey through nature, technology and a world accelerating beyond our control. It is one of cinema’s defining audiovisual works: a wordless symphony about nature, humanity and the technological world we have created. Its title is drawn from the Hopi language and can be translated as “life out of balance.” Without dialogue or a conventional narrative, the film reveals the rhythms and structures that shape modern existence. Koyaanisqatsi remains a powerful reflection on the price of progress and a world moving ever faster, without necessarily knowing where it is going.
